Today we focus on body motion and sequencing-
Using data collected from 3-D motion analysis systems, we now know how golfers generate speed and transfer this speed or energy throughout their bodies. There is a specific sequence of motion that all good golfers follow to start their downswing. All great ball strikers begin by generating speed from their lower body and transferring this speed through their torso, into their arms, and then into the club. What style they use to complete this signature is completely unique to each player according to studies done by the Titleist Performance Institute.
Any deviation from this sequence of motion leads to swing compensations and missed-hit shots. Watch CardioGolf® creator, Karen Palacios-Jansen demonstrate an exercise to improve your sequencing of motion.
