Break it Down-make 30 practice swings a day for 30 days and you will have made 900 swings over the course of a month.  Okay, so it is not exactly a 1000 swings, but close enough (if you really want to get technical, you’ll have to take 33.3333 swing per day to reach 1000 practice swings).  The amount is not the point, the point is to be consistent with your practice; take a few minutes out of your day to work on your golf swing and get some exercise.

If you don’t have enough room to swing a regular club,  use the ‘Shortee Practice Training Club’ by GolfGym.  Click here for more information.

Days 26, 27 and 28

Making practice swings instead of hitting balls is a better way to improve your swing technique.  If you are trying to make a swing change, rehearsing the move without hitting a ball will assure that you are actually doing the correct move.  Repeating the motion that you want to achieve will help ingrain the move into your real swing.

  • As you make practice swings, try to:
  • simulate a real swing as much as possible.
  • Visualize a real golf shot.
  • Set up as if you were going to hit a real shot.
  • When you finish your swing, hold your finish and stay in balance.
  • Watch your shot go down the fairway or land on the green.

Thirty practice swings take approximately 2 minutes to complete.  Watch me do it…click here to see video…
