Play more Golf in 2012

There is less than one week until the New Year.  Have you decided what kind of year 2012 is going to be?  Have you outlined how you are going to obtain the goals you have set for yourself.  I am not one for New Year’s Resolutions because I feel that one should be constantly trying to improve oneself no matter what time of year it is, but this is a good time as any to set some goals and make a plan to improve your life.

As many of you know, my blog and website pertain to golf and golf fitness, so if you want to improve your golf game this is the place to be.  I have outlined some ways to set goals to help you improve your game.  If you want more information on how to set goals to improve your golf game and golf fitness, let me know and I will email them to you.

Happy New Year!

Cardiogolf Goal Setting for 2012

Define Your Values

Powerful goals are built upon core values.

What is important to you in your golf game and do these goals contribute positively to your life?  The following are areas that I would like to improve.  What areas of your game or life would you like to improve?

  • Golf Fitness (Improving how my body moves and my endurance)
  • Golf Swing (Improving and perfecting swing technique and shot-making)
  • Golf Scores (Learning to manage my game and to score to the best of my ability)

Say Hello to Your Future Self

Create who you are going to be. Exercise for the body you would like to have.  Practice as is you were a low handicap golfer.  Act like you already have attained your goals. Ask yourself the following questions:

  • What does my ideal body or swing look and feel like?
  • What is the quality of my relationships with the team of people who are going to help me with my goals? Are you surrounding yourself with people that will help you reach your goals?
  • What am I doing to challenge myself athletically and mentally?

Writing Powerful Goals

A goal is most powerful when written with the following attributes:

Cardiogolf DVDs produced and made in America.

large number of studies in the past few years showed that after age 40, people typically lose 8 percent or more of their muscle mass each decade, a process that accelerates significantly after age 70. Less muscle mass generally means less strength, mobility and among the elderly, independence. It also has been linked with premature mortality and some bad golf scores.

With all the information we have about the benefits of exercise, you would think that everybody would be doing it.  But sadly, less than 1% of the population participates in a regular fitness program. Please try to do something everyday to move your body to get the great benefits of fitness.  Why not work on your golf game at the same time?  Try Cardiogolf…

What is Cardiogolf?

Cardiogolf (www.cardiogolf.com) is a 60-minute golf-specific workout that is taught by certified instructors using an area in a gym or at a practice range. Using the specially designed Cardio Club participants learn exercises to promote better swing mechanics, flexibility, strength and balance throughout the golf swing. The exercises are set to music which makes this program ideal for a group exercise class. It accommodates every golfer regardless of gender, age and skill level or fitness level. Benefits include building strength, stamina, balance and flexibility.

Who developed Cardiogolf?

The Cardiogolf Fitness Program was created by Karen Palacios-Jansen.  Karen, an AFAA certified personal trainer and LPGA teaching professional and is managing editor of Golf Fitness Magazine.  Over the years she has instructed hundreds of professional and amateur golfers using this unique and effective program and has been featured in several top golf publications illustrating this success.

Why Cardiogolf?

Karen used to have a dilemma: spend her free time working out or working on her golf swing.  Golf may be good mental exercise, but as far as a physical exertion it can’t compete with aerobics.  So she got to thinking, maybe she could do both at the same time.

Learning to play golf requires a lot of time, effort and money.  To play consistently, you must spend countless hours at a golf course. To achieve power, you must train your body, spending time in the gym lifting weights and stretching most days of the week.

Through analysis and research Karen developed a program that revolutionizes how people learn and practice the game of golf.  Cardiogolf is a way for golfers to improve their swing mechanics and fitness levels at the same time.

Cardiogolf –The Core Workout is the second DVD to LPGA Teacher of the Year and Certified Personal Trainer Karen Palacios-Jansen’s Cardiogolf Fitness Program. Cardiogolf uses easy-to-learn movements without the need of leaving the privacy of your own home.  In Karen’s newest DVD, you’ll learn core specific exercises to help improve your golf swing, lengthen your drives and reshape your body at the same time. You know you need to exercise for better health, so why not practice your golf swing at the same time.

There is nothing like Cardiogolf on the market today.  This unique golf fitness program is designed to improve swing biomechanics, increase clubhead speed for more power and tone your body at the same time.  Karen demonstrates proper technique step-by-step in a unique format that is easy to follow.  The workout can be modified and intensified to fit the needs of players of all levels. Karen has taught her Cardiogolf fitness program to hundreds of golfers to help them achieve incredible results.  To order visit www.cardiogolfcore.com or call 1-704-663-5199.
