Get Off the Couch-It Could Save Your Life

KarenGolf Fitness, Misc

If you have a job or lifestyle that requires you to sit for long periods of time-you need to get up and move more often-it could save your life. According to a study, people who sit most of the day are more prone to heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and obesity. The only way to counteract the effects of a sedentary lifestyle is to get up and move around.  The best way to assure that you are getting enough movement into your day is to schedule hourly breaks, where you get up, walk around, stretch and move.
