KPJ Golf Mother’s Day Golf Fitness Challenge

KarenGolf Fitness, Misc

This year, I have started the KPJ Golf Fitness Challenge. I have asked people to join me as I do something every day to improve my fitness to play better golf. I always tell my students that it is better to do some movement every day, even if it is just for a few moments, than to wait for the days where you have an hour or two to workout. Those days hardly ever happen.

This week I challenge the Mothers out there to give themselves a boost on the upcoming golf season.  Do a golf specific exercise or golf swing drill every day this week.  By the end of the week, you will have improved your swing and body and will be well on your way to incorporating golf fitness into your daily routine.

Try some of these Yoga exercises. Yoga helps you connect your mind and body. It also has the additional benefit of not just stretching and toning, but stretching and toning while deep breathing and being in a calm, meditative state.

In this calm state, you are stimulating your parasympathetic nervous system, which lowers your blood pressure and helps blood flow properly to your organs – your immune, reproductive and digestive systems – and in doing so carry all the nutrients required for their good health and a good golf game.

Shape Up Your Swing-Trim Your Score

Give your Mom the gift of golf. If the Moms in your life are golfers or if they have ever expressed an interest in learning to play golf, Cardiogolf is a perfect program for them to learn this wonderful game. It is a fun, fast moving routine set to music. All exercises use moves taken from the golf swing. Players do a series of choreographed moves that are designed to stretch and strengthen the body along with improving the player’s golf swing technique.

Cardiogolf will not only help you improve your swing technique but your fitness level as well. You know you have to exercise for better health, so why not practice your golf swing at the same time. Cardiogolf is easy to do in your home or office.
