Spend the next two weeks getting your game and body back in shape, so you can enjoy the summer season and maximize your performance.

Day 7-Increase Your Turn

Your body ultimately influences the path of your club at impact, which can affects the initial flight of the ball. If you want to become a more consistent ball striker, you had better learn to move your body correctly.

Your shoulders should move perpendicular to your spine angle and turn 90-degrees to your target line.  If you lack flexibility in your shoulders, neck or core, you may not be able to make a complete turn at the top of your swing.

To increase your shoulder turn, think of turning  your back to the target at the top of your swing.

Shoulder and Core Rotator

  1. Stand in your golf stance with a club placed behind your shoulders.
  2. Keep your head level as you turn your back to the target at the top of your swing.
  3. Focus on moving your front shoulder under your chin.
  4. Hold the position for a moment and return to the start position.
  5. Do 8 to 10 repetitions.
