A Note from Karen CardioGolf™ Creator-

In my opinion, you can never practice chipping enough.  Chipping it close can help you save par and avoid those big numbers.  But don’t kill yourself or your back spending hours bent over chipping around the green.  Even a few minutes of practice can help your feel.

I recommend that when you practice, try to chip shots to different distances and targets.  Here are a few tips to mix it up:

  1. Switch clubs often and be creative with the type of shot you hit.
  2. Grab a friend and challenge them to a chipping contest.
  3. Take one ball, chip it to a hole and then putt the ball out.  See how many times you can get up and down from around the practice green.

You will get confidence around the green by improvising your technique by changing your stance, your ball position, the angle of the clubface and even the swing itself to hit a variety of different shots.
