Fathers and Golf

Looking for a last minute Father’s Day gift.  Why not give him the gift of golf?  Send your Dad a gift certificate to get his swing analyzed.  We will send him a video lesson and tips to help him improve his game.

Fathers and Golf

If you are like most golfers, most likely, your Father introduced you to the game.  My Dad, Enrique Palacios, is the reason I play. He is a big family man, so when he took up the game of golf when he came to the United States from Mexico, he didn’t want to leave his family behind. So he took all of us with him to the driving range and golf course on the weekends.  While he was honing his skills, I was too.

Since the US Open is always around Father’s Day, my Mom would make a million different snacks and we would all pile on the couch with my Dad to watch the coverage from start to finish.  Little did he know that my exposure to golf would end up with me making a career out of this game.  I can’t thank him enough for introducing me to the game and all his support!  Feliz Día de los Padres, Papá.

Tell me about your Dad.  Send me stories and pictures of your Dad playing golf and I will post them on my Facebook page.  The first 5 people to send stories and photos will get my New Cardiogolf App download for Free.  Available now on iTunes and later this month for Android phones.  Send them to KPJ@swingbladegolf.com.

Thanks for sending me your stories and photos.  Here is a great story from one of my collegues, Patty Driapsa, whose Father still plays golf at 100.  Love this…

Hi Karen,
This article is about my dad Bill Santor who just turned 100 in April and still plays golf.  He was my inspiration.
