Cardiogolf 1000 Practice Swing Challenge Days 5 and 6

KarenGolf Fitness, Misc

 A note from Karen:

The challenge is straightforward-simply make 1000 practice swings during the month of October to improve your swing technique and increase clubhead speed.  You don’t need to go to the driving range or golf course, you can simply make practice swings in your garage or living room at home a few minutes a day (just make sure that you don’t whack the ceiling or walls!)

Stretch Out Your Swing for More Distance

As you leaf through the pages of golf magazines, you’ll see that photographers love to catch pro golfers just after they have hit the ball where there arms are fully extended like this because it looks really powerful. If you pull your arms in towards your body as you swing through, you will hit a lot of thin and weak shots. Long arms through impact are the key to solid impact.

You need to learn to rotate your forearms as your body rotates for full extension. Simply think of swinging out to right field.
