Practice-

Please video tape yourself doing a 3 to 5 minute video demonstrating the Golf Swing Biomechanics. Choose two to three of the Swing Biomechanics. The idea is for me to see that you have an understanding of how the body works for golf.  Feel free to add in your own instruction. Don’t worry about the background of the video, just make sure that I can see and hear you clearly.

CardioGolf®Certification Tips-
A Note from Karen Jansen:

You can start to incorporate CardioGolf® into your teaching now.
CardioGolf®is one of those things that is kind of hard to explain.  I have found that showing people and letting them experience CardioGolf® is more effective than trying to explain it to them.

Attached is an example of a typical CardioGolf® warm-up routine. As you are designing your workouts, you will want to string a series of different exercises into flow, where you do one exercise after the other.

Here is a sample CardioGolf® Pre-Round Warm Up Routine-
  • Hip Swings
  • Side Hip Swings
  • Squats
  • Cross Crawl
  • Speed Skaters
  •  Bicycle Arms
  • Core Rotators
  • Shoulder Rotators
  • Smooth Practice Swings
Explaining CardioGolf®-
Here is an example of some of the things that you tell to your students to introduce them to CardioGolf®:
  • There are just under two months left until the spring.  That is plenty of time to get in Golf Shape.  Don’t wait until the season starts to start your golf-fitness program.
  • Start by doing a few exercises everyday and you will not only improve your game, but you’ll shape up your body at the same time.
  • Only about 1/3 of U.S. adults get regular of exercise, according to the National Health Interview Survey. That means that more than half of our population are not getting the health benefits of exercise including lowering blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
  • Studies also show that even 15 minutes a day of moderate exercise, six days a week could reduce the risk of death by 14 percent compared with people who aren’t active at all.
  • Since you know you have to exercise anyway for better health, then why not work on your golf game at the same time?

Learn a few routines well, so that you have an arsenal of workouts to present during lessons, classes and clinics.
