Golf Fitness Can Help You Beat the Winter Blues

KarenGolf Fitness, Misc

Winter has taken the whole country by storm.  It is even cold in Florida.  I never remember it getting below 60 degrees when I lived in Miami and this morning it was a low of 34 degrees! Staying motivated to exercise in the winter, especially during the holidays is important to keep you happy and healthy. Studies show that exercise can help not only improve mood, but it also reduces stress, which often exacerbates feelings of depression brought on by the winter blues.

But it is hard to find time for fitness, let alone work on your golf game when you are super busy and tired. Cardiogolf is a great way to get some needed exercise while you work on your game at the same time.

You don’t need to go to a gym to exercise.  Simply having a few moves to do everyday while you watch tv can boost your energy level, improve your fitness, ward off holiday pounds and improve your golf game.

Here is a quick routine that you can do 2 to 3 times a week.  Don’t worry if you can’t complete all the exercises in one session.  Instead of trying to find a 40-minute chunk of time 3 times a week, do some of the exercises for 5 to 10 minutes everyday.
