THIS MONTH’S FOCUS IS ON STABILITY AND PUTTING

CardioGolf™ is Functional Training-

We have done numerous studies to determine the activity level for CardioGolf™ program.  Using the Whoop App, the Polar Heart Rate monitor and a standard step counter, we have determined how CardioGolf™ compares to other standard exercise activities.

CardioGolf™ is considered a functional training program.  Functional training prepares you to get better at everyday activities—like walking, squatting to pick up something heavy, pushing a revolving door, or getting in and out of a chair—and preparing you to play your favorite sports like golf or tennis.

Here are some results for you to compare a 30-minute CardioGolf™ Total Body Workout, using the CardioGolf™ Slope, Shortee Club and the GolfGym® PowerBall to other activities you may do.  Your results may vary depending on your weight, body composition and exertion level.

How does CardioGolf™ compare to other activities like walking or jogging?

  • You can burn 300 to 450 calories per 30 minutes of CardioGolf™ activity depending on your weight, body composition and exertieion level.
  • If you are counting steps, doing 30 minutes of CardioGolf™  is equivalent to walking 4000 steps.
  • Doing a CardioGolf™ workout at a low impact rate is equivalent to walking 2.0 to 2. 5 miles at a pace of 4.0 mph.
  • Doing CardioGolf™ workout at a high intensity level, adding jogging and hopping may be comparable to jogging 2.5 to 3 miles at 6.0 mph pace.

You know you need to exercise for better health, so if you are a golfer, why not work on your fitness and golf game at the same time!
