Stability-

Because the golf swing requires repeating the same movement, some muscles become overused, others may weaken causing imbalances.

Therefore, enhancing core stability through exercise can help prevent injury and also provide you with more power in your golf swing.

Putting-

Although the task of putting may not seem like a highly athletic activity, the long hours of practice, that it takes to be proficient, can take a toll on the body. Especially on the back and hips.

Having to hold your spine in position for long periods of time can be very painful for some people, therefor exercises that help improve flexibility and stability while you are practice could not only help prevent sore muscle, but also could improve your putting technique.

CardioGolf™ to Shape Your Swing-

You know from playing other sports that if you go for long periods without practicing the skill, you lose feel and power.  When you stop doing something for an extended period of time that requires some form of athletic ability you tend to forget how to do it. Golf is no different.

If you have been doing CardioGolf all winter you are in your ideal shape.  Keep doing what you are doing!

But if you haven’t been moving as much as you wanted to this winter, spend the next few weeks getting your body back in shape, so you can enjoy the  new season and maximize your performance.

To play golf at your full potential you must have the ability to rotate almost every joint in your body to its functional capacity. If there are restrictions in the shoulders, torso, pelvis or hips, there will be compensations somewhere else in the musculoskeletal system, which results in faults in the golf swing and possible injury to joints and muscles.

This week the CardioGolf™ Online Studio  Weekly Workout Plan helps you lengthen and strengthen muscles and joints well as help you improve your swing technique.
