THIS WEEK’S FOCUS IS ON BALANCE FOR GOLFERS-

Your ability to stay balanced throughout your golf swing is important to create power. Firstly, if you are unable to stay balanced, it is likely you will be limited in the amount of force you can apply at impact.

Secondly, balance training can be easily overlooked in a training program as being an inefficient use oftime. However, balance plays an important role in the prevention of injuries and maximizing efficientmovement patterns. 

Thirdly, poor balance can lead to poor body mechanics, joint dysfunction, and ultimately, injury according to the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  So therefore it is importance to practice balance exercises that not only help you improve your swing mechanics but also will help you increase your power as well.
